For the summer of 2025, I will offer one-on-one personalized instruction for students with dyslexia using structured literacy approaches like Wilson Reading or The Institute for Excellence in Writing.
I can offer intensive courses working around your student's summer schedule and support ongoing, school-month intervention programs in reading or writing. I can work with executive functioning elements that impact reading and writing, including editing and spelling. For emerging readers, we can explore print and phonological awareness. I am trained in multiple structured literacies, or Orton-Gillingham approaches to reading, spelling, and writing, ensuring a professional and effective service.
Instruction will be online via Zoom. We understand that summer is a time for relaxation and fun, so sessions are scheduled through an online calendar to accommodate other summer activities. With a 12-hour cancellation or change policy, you can easily adjust the schedule to fit your needs. Session costs are $110 for 50 minutes.
I offer a specific intensive writing course utilizing the Institute for Excellence in Writing - Structure and Style for students entering 4th grade and older who can read within one grade level or have had one year of Orton-Gillinham instruction. The writing course requires at least eight sessions; students are assigned homework.
